Floods are dangerous!! Don't play in flood waters! Even though it looks fun... My brother Sammy tried
to do it once and almost died! It was moving WAY FASTER than what it looked and he got pulled away with the water!
Thank-goodness someone saw him and helped! Otherwise, he would have drown! (That's why we NEVER leave the house
during a storm, and NEVER without Mom and Dad.)
Did you know that it only takes about 3 or 4 inches of water moving quickly to knock you off of your
feet!?? YEAH! That's bad!
Did you know that CARS FLOAT??
The people driving the car (and the truck) in this picture are S-T-U-P-I-D!! Just because you drive
a truck doesn't mean you are safe. And the driver of this car actually lost control of his car when it started FLOATING
DOWN STREAM!! That is REALLY dangerous.
This video shows us why we NEVER drive down a partially flooded road-- 'cause it's S-T-U-P-I-D!!
This man slams into flood waters on I-10 near Metairie Road
exit ON ACCIDENT...
Hurricane Katrina flooded I-10 under at least two feet of water in this area.
In the interview after the rescue, the man said the water "blended in with the gray pavement and did
not not notice the high water." He said he was stupid for doing it...
The dangerous thing is-- the man should probably NOT have gone out to try
to save the other guy because he could have been killed, too! The best thing to do? CALL THE POLICE!!
